Summer Job Update

I haven't been posting much in the last few weeks because I started a new job in arts administration, the sexiest of all hipster occupations (after, maybe, producer at CBC Radio 3 or professional cycling advocate). It's at the Ontario Crafts Council, near Queen and Ossington. I write grants and promotional copy.
The job is totally rad, but an added bonus is all the local food spots. Café Bernate has the most delicious sandwiches known to man. T.A.N. Coffee serves up a mean fair-trade brew and manager Marilyn bakes organic fruit muffins that make the A.M. worthwhile. And all the hype around Golden Turtle pho is well-deserved.
I'm kind of bummed that soon, I'll have to take 3 weeks off to do my internship at the National Post. Which is kind of ironic, actually: on the one hand, I'm working at a non-profit arts organization that supports independent craftspeople; on the other, I'm working for a newspaper that supports the Conservative government. But I'll be working in the arts and life department, I swear!
Perhaps their right- and left-wingness cancel each other out?
