This is pretty much proof of the five year rule, namely that any “Best of” list should be legally required to reject anything created less than five years ago. It’s the only way to filter out the dross. If you could find iTune’s top movies rentals for films made in or before 2003, you’d probably get a much less upsetting result.

Hey, Definately Maybe wasn’t half bad…but it is kind of depressing that something on the order of zero of these will be remembered in a year.

Would it be right if “Step Up 1″ wasn’t able to fully explore its themes in a sequel?
