There is a new brand of jeans that are absolutely fabulous for curvy shaped women of all sizes. The brand is Little in the Middle, and this jeans line caters to all sizes of women that have a curvy shape. One of the most interesting thing that it does; is that it is sized one size smaller in the waist than in the hips, so it eliminates that awful gap in the back of your jeans that let your rear end hang out while seated while offering a great fit. I think that this would be a great addition to your listing of jeans brands for future articles.

Two frreaking thumbs up, yo. I was up at size 20 a while ago, and now I’m a 16 with regular dips into 18-ville. It’s why I love shopping in the states so much – THEIR mall stores have plenty of clothes in bigger sizes, and according to Macy’s, I’m always a 14. It’s a great feeling.

The caveat is that when I do head down yonder, I always buy too much because I’m so giddy that things actually FIT and that I have a selection of nice, flattering, stylish clothes to choose from. IMAGINE THAT!

I have been missing the ability to shop at Forever 21 (since I am now in my 30s, I really need to rethink this) ever since I shot past their max size (mumblemumble) years ago. So this is good news but I am with you – what is plus size about those ladies?

The only place I buy jeans anymore is Ebay. What does that say??

Amen sister. I am a 14, also just on the cusp. I have a life long love affair with the Gap, because they are the one mall store that tends to always stock up to 16. I have always particularly struggled with the war on boobs that the fashion industry seems intent on.

What’s funny is that men have no concept of what “skinny” and “fat” translate into in real life terms for women. My boyfriend can’t understand why someone all normal sized like me can’t shop wherever I want and is often so encouraging I get tricked into things like trying on cheap summer pants at Bluenotes (who cruelly don’t even put mirrors in their changerooms, FYI).
