Vogue told me to paint my nails blue, so I did. I’m rather fond of it, actually!
I did not take Vogue’s recommendation on the fur skirt or the hip waders.

Comic Jamming with the Wouldn’t Bees

Last Tuesday, I attended an event called “Concerning Comics and Comic Jamming” hosted by the Wouldn’t Bees: a curatorial collective comprised of Mabel Bee (Rachel Harris), Rose Bee (Molly Sigalet), Eliza Bee (Christina Atkinson), and Bea Bee (Eva Verity). So Your Cat Wants A Massage?

It’s things like this that make life infinitely better.
“Remember the old Simon and Garfunkel song, ‘Slow down, you’re moving too fast…’? That says a lot about life, and about cat massage!”
“We touch all the time — why not be the best at it?”
“Remember: you can’t fool drool!”

The Fluidity of Written and Social-Verbal Communication

I think it’s pretty neat how elements of written communication make their way into social-verbal communication, and vice versa!
The example that immediately came to mind is using “air quotes” when you’re talking, an element of punctuation making its way into regular conversation. Imagine we did that with other kinds of punctuation: “I am going to [...]
